Now that submissions are officially closed, we continue the difficult and inspiring task of watching films from around the world. It is always interesting to see what artist's deem to be "video art" vs "experimental film", a choice we consciously made to support both types of time-based media which can literally just mean works made on video or works made on film. The terms are loaded in different ways: why video ART vs EXPERIMENTAL film? Is all art not experimental? What do you think? Are you a video artist or an experimental filmmaker? Or both? #burntfest #experimentalvideo #experimentalfilm #videoart #filmart #burntfest3
Submissions open for third edition and we can't wait to see your experimental films and video art. Bring them to us. Thank you @charlietwitch for the unbelievable concept and painted logo! 💐
